Nominations of the International Dog Show Ranking (Russia):

Ranking system
Points for the victory at the exhibition are calculated according to the following formula: (number of dogs recorded at the dog show from 1st till 10th group) * K,
where K is the coefficient:
- 1 place= 0.100
- 2 place= 0.075
- 3 place= 0.050
In addition, for major international dog shows, depending on the number of participants, points can also be awarded for the 4th and 5th places with the following coefficients:
- 4 place= 0.025
- 5 place= 0.010
The coefficients for winning the Best Junior competition are as follows:
- 1 place= 0.0500
- 2 place= 0.0375
- 3 place= 0.0250
- 4 place= 0.0125
- 5 place= 0.0050
Points for winning the Junior Handler competition are awarded according to the following formula: <number of competition participants enrolled in the dog show in the age group> * K, where K is the coefficient.
The coefficients for winning the Junior Handler competition:
- 1 place = 1
- 2 place = 0.75
- 3 place = 0.5
- 4 place = 0.25
- 5 place = 0.1
Example
Number of Dogs on Show, up to 10 groups inclusive: 1500
1 place in the Group or Best in Show: 1500 * 0.1 = 150 points
1 place in the Best in Show Junior competition: 1500 * 0.05 = 75 points
In the cases when one show of the CACIB rank takes place within 2 days and the Best in Show Junior competition is held on the first and second day, the points for the victory of the juniors are divided in half.
Example
Number of Dogs on Show, up to 10 groups inclusive: 1500
1 place in the Best in Show Junior competition in first/second day of the Show: 1500 * 0.025 = 37.5 points
2 place in the Best in Show Junior competition in first/second day of the Show: 1500 * 0.01875 = 28.125 points
Please note that the site displays the sum of points rounded to integers. Inside the system, the calculation is made up to thousandths. If the ranking participants have the same number of points, but they are in different positions, then the difference in points is a fractional number. The points for the group competitions, Best in Show and Best in Show Junior are not summed up. In controversial cases, when the sum of points matches up to a thousandth and it is necessary to determine the leader, the number of dog shows won is compared: the participant who wins in fewer dog shows is considered the leader, since the coefficient of his victories due to the number of dogs registered for the dog shows is higher.
Best Russian Dog-RKF breed ranking
Points in the breed ranking are awarded to all holders of the BOB title at the dog shows of the ChRKF rank with a special status in accordance with the number of dogs in the breed according to the catalog (1 dog – 1 point, 100 dogs – 100 points).
Rights to compete in Best Russian Dog Show Ranking in Russia
Best Russian Dog Ranking is annual. Points that will take account on the Ranking are from the current year. Points from the previous year will not take into account.
- Best in Show Ranking – Best in Show placement’s 1,2,3 and some cases 4.
- Best in Group Ranking – BIG placement’s 1,2,3 and 4.
- Ranking Best Junior — Best in Show Junior placement’s 1,2,3 and some cases 4 and 5.
- Handler and Handler-Owner Ranking – the sum of points of the dogs shown for 1,2,3 places and in some cases 4 and 5 in BIS, BIG and BISj is taken into account.
- Breeder Ranking — the sum of points of dogs for 1,2,3 places and in some cases 4 and 5 in BIS, BIG and BISj is taken into account.
- BOB and titles are not be accounted in the Ranking.
- Dog must have a RKF registration number to participate in the ranking.
- Owner of the dog must be a citizen of Russia or a foreigner with permanent residence in the Russian Federation.
- Handler and Handler-owner must be a Russian citizen or a foreigner with permanent residence in the Russian Federation to participate in the ranking.
- Handler that participates in the Ranking will receive winning points from dogs he shows in qualifying Dog Shows.

In the Best Junior Handler nomination there is a division into older and younger age groups. Points are awarded to the participant based on the age group in which he was registered on the dates of the dog show. If during the year a participant moves from a junior group to a senior group, the points for the ranking are NOT summed up, but are counted separately.

The breeder must have a kennel registered with the RKF.
- Breeder receives the points from all his dogs that participate in the Ranking.
